This Acceptable Use Policy explains prohibited conduct on ParkLive and
the actions we may take to protect the platform, users, rewards
systems, and service integrity.
This Policy applies to all users of ParkLive, including anyone who
accesses or uses the mobile application, website, APIs, support
channels, reward systems, maps, or related services.
This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the ParkLive Terms of
Service. Violations may result in warnings, content removal, reward
invalidation, feature restrictions, suspension, or permanent account
termination.
1. Purpose
ParkLive is a community-driven service that depends on trustworthy
user-generated parking signals and fair platform participation. To keep
the service safe and reliable, users must not engage in fraud,
manipulation, spam, deception, unlawful conduct, or technical abuse.
2. You Must Not Misuse ParkLive
You must not use ParkLive in a way that:
- Violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
- Harms other users, the public, or the integrity of the platform
- Creates false trust signals or fake parking availability
- Manipulates rewards, scoring, reputation, or moderation systems
- Interferes with the security, stability, or performance of the service
3. Prohibited Content and Conduct
3.1 False or Misleading Parking Signals
You must not create, confirm, or distribute parking information that is:
- Knowingly false
- Misleading or deceptive
- Artificially generated to influence user behavior
- Submitted without a genuine basis in observed conditions
- Designed to cause inconvenience, confusion, or loss to others
3.2 Reward Farming and System Manipulation
You must not manipulate any reward, coin, points, badge, trust, or reputation system, including by:
- Creating fake accounts
- Coordinating with others to simulate activity
- Submitting repeated fake confirmations
- Using multiple accounts controlled by the same person
- Using devices, emulators, scripts, or automation to generate actions
- Triggering duplicate or artificial events to obtain rewards
- Attempting to exploit bugs, delays, timing windows, or race conditions
3.3 Spam and Abuse
You must not use ParkLive to:
- Spam signals, reports, support channels, or feedback forms
- Flood the platform with repetitive, low-quality, or abusive content
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other users or staff
- Submit malicious, offensive, unlawful, or harmful content
3.4 Identity Abuse
You must not:
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Misrepresent your affiliation, identity, or authorization
- Use fake credentials or deceptive sign-in methods
- Create accounts for fraudulent or deceptive purposes
3.5 Technical Abuse
You must not:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of ParkLive systems without authorization
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, databases, tokens, APIs, or admin tools
- Bypass authentication, rate limits, or security controls
- Upload or distribute malware, malicious code, or harmful payloads
- Use scraping, harvesting, crawling, or extraction tools at scale without written permission
- Reverse engineer or interfere with the service beyond what law clearly permits
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for gain or disruption
3.6 Location and Device Manipulation
You must not manipulate platform signals through false technical inputs, including by:
- GPS spoofing or fabricated location signals
- Device tampering designed to falsify behavior
- Use of rooted, jailbroken, emulated, or modified environments to evade controls
- Masking identity or device state for fraud or abuse purposes
3.7 Unlawful or Harmful Use
You must not use ParkLive to support or facilitate:
- Illegal parking activity
- Fraud, deception, or unlawful commercial activity
- Stalking, surveillance, intimidation, or targeting individuals
- Interference with public safety or emergency access
- Any activity that could expose ParkLive or its users to legal or operational harm
4. Reports, Moderation, and Investigations
We may review accounts, signals, reports, device patterns, technical
metadata, reward activity, and related records to detect abuse, enforce
our rules, protect users, and maintain platform integrity.
We may investigate suspected misconduct using automated systems and
human review where appropriate.
5. Enforcement Actions
If we suspect a violation of this Policy, we may take one or more actions at our discretion, subject to applicable law:
- Issue a warning
- Remove or suppress content
- Invalidate or reverse rewards, coins, points, badges, or related balances
- Limit features, visibility, submissions, or account functionality
- Require additional verification
- Temporarily suspend the account
- Permanently terminate the account
- Block devices, sessions, tokens, IP ranges, or technical identifiers
- Report unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate
6. No Right to Rewards Obtained by Abuse
Rewards, coins, points, and similar benefits obtained through fraud,
exploitation, manipulation, duplicate activity, automation, fake
accounts, technical abuse, or policy violations are void.
ParkLive may remove, reverse, freeze, or refuse such rewards at any time.
7. Security and Platform Protection Measures
To protect the service, we may implement security and anti-abuse measures including:
- Rate limiting
- Cooldown periods
- Trust and reputation systems
- Duplicate-action detection
- Automated risk scoring
- Device and session integrity checks
- Location plausibility checks
- Temporary or permanent submission restrictions
8. Appeals and Reviews
If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may contact
us at
support@parklive.app.
We may review appeals, but we are not obligated to restore content,
rewards, or accounts where we reasonably believe abuse, fraud, or risk
is present.
9. Cooperation With Law Enforcement and Legal Requests
We may preserve, review, or disclose relevant information where
reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, valid legal process,
protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or enforce our agreements.
10. Policy Updates
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Updated
versions become effective when posted or otherwise communicated unless a
later date is stated.
11. Contact
Violation of this Policy may result in immediate restriction, suspension,
reward cancellation, or permanent removal from ParkLive.
